Québec Regulator Warns Pump.fun on Unauthorized Solicitation

Québec's securities regulator issued a warning on September 25 that Pump.fun is not registered and unauthorized to solicit investors in the province. The platform, also known as Baton Corporation LTD, is identified as high-risk and its website is pump.fun.

The warning applies specifically to prospective investors in Québec, who can check the Autorité des marchés financiers' registers to verify if a firm or individual is authorized to operate. This warning does not imply that Pump.fun's website will be shut down or users will lose access to their wallets.

No broader ban or Canadian-wide prohibition has been announced against the platform, and it still appears to be operational. The regulatory notice focuses on authorization to solicit Québec investors, rather than declaring the platform banned in the province.
