Regulated Casinos Get Crypto Payments via Walker Digital Table Systems Partnership

Share

Walker Digital Table Systems (WDTS) has partnered with BurraPay to integrate compliant cryptocurrency payments directly into its gaming table platform. This marks a significant step towards mainstream adoption of digital currencies in regulated casino operations.

The technology, known as Direct-to-Device, enables players to fund slot machines, terminals, or connected tables using cryptocurrencies almost immediately, removing the need for cage visits and reducing processing delays. BurraPay's platform has been designed to satisfy the compliance requirements set by US gaming regulators, a threshold that had previously barred cryptocurrency from licensed casino operations.

WDTS technology is already deployed on more than 5,000 gaming tables across Asia, Australia, and North America. The company's CEO, Stephen Moore, said: 'We are excited to be the first table games system to integrate with such a transformative solution in casino payments.'
