Remittix Challenges Ethereum and Solana with Crypto-to-Fiat Payments
Investors in Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) are considering their options against the emerging payments platform Remittix. ETH was trading around $2,720 on October 5, with stablecoin and DeFi activity driving network use. Ethereum's Glamsterdam roadmap aims to boost capacity, with a $4,000 target requiring a 47% upside. SOL was near $121, supported by its Alpenglow initiative for faster confirmations and strong trading activity. A move to $200 would need a 65% gain.
Remittix is bridging crypto trading with fiat payouts through its PayFi service. The platform has processed over $50 million in trading volume, offering a live product for review before the RTX token debuts on November 24. Remittix has invited 1,000 existing holders to test initial EUR and USD crypto-to-bank options, targeting freelancers and traders needing bank payouts.
The World Bank estimated $856 billion in global remittances in 2024, suggesting even a small share could mean substantial volume for Remittix. The platform's wallet has over 10,000 iOS downloads, providing a user base for its Markets and PayFi services. Remittix has raised over $32 million toward a $36 million cap, with a $0.46 final presale tier before the RTX launch.
