Remittix Crypto Presale Raises $32M Amid Licensing Concerns
The Remittix crypto presale has raised $32,492,718.51 at $0.23 per RTX, exceeding nearly 90% of its $36M cap. The project is set to launch on November 24, 2026, with over 40,000 participants joining in the presale.
While the sale has been successful, concerns remain about users' ability to access and use RTX after launch. According to the project's documentation, residents of certain countries, including the US, UK, Canada, and China, are prohibited from buying or using Remittix products. Those in permitted regions will need to undergo identity checks and provide a government ID and proof of address.
The project has also raised questions about its licensing status. Although it claims to be EU-licensed and audited, the documentation reviewed shows no license number, and the audit only covers the smart contract, not a payments license.
Remittix's planned use cases for RTX include governance, staking, PayFi platform transfers, and products such as Wallet, Perps Markets, and Earn. However, before launch, users can only hold and test the token, with no buy or sell tax applied.
