Remittix Tests PayFi Rollout Ahead of RTX Debut

Share

Remittix, a cryptocurrency platform, has made its PayFi rollout more concrete after giving 1,000 of its over 40,000 RTX holders access to test the service. The initial options are EUR and USD.

The testing phase is designed to help Remittix improve the user experience for PayFi, which aims to connect supported cryptocurrencies with compatible bank-bound payouts. This is a crucial step before the scheduled November 24 debut of RTX.

Remittix's PayFi platform would allow users to convert their cryptocurrency into fiat currency and have it deposited directly into their bank account. However, this process can be complex, involving multiple steps and various security measures. The testing phase will help Remittix refine the user journey, making it more transparent and secure for customers.

The news comes as Bitget temporarily paused withdrawals after detecting unauthorized transfers from some wallets in September. This incident highlights the importance of exchange security and customer experience during incidents, which can erode trust among users.
