Financial markets reacted to a series of announcements from key players in the sector. Federal Reserve officials, including Vice Chair Philip Jefferson and New York Fed President John Williams, signaled patience in their decision-making process for interest-rate hikes, reducing expectations that an October increase is imminent.

The market-implied odds of an October rate hike fell to 28.2%, down from 68.6% the previous week.

Brent crude oil prices rebounded above $100 per barrel after Chinese refiners suspended fuel exports in October, boosting inflation concerns and tightening refined-product supplies.

On the cryptocurrency front, Bitcoin (BTC) gained 1.29% over the past 24 hours to reach $84,564.38, while Ethereum (ETH) increased by 0.68% to $2,692.87. The total crypto market capitalization rose 0.97% to $2.99 trillion.

Despite these gains, some experts warn that the Fed's decision-making process may not be entirely clear-cut. Evercore ISI interpreted the recent comments from Jefferson and Williams as a signal that the Fed is unlikely to deliver another hike immediately in October.
