Remittix Wallet Hits 10,000 Downloads Ahead of PayFi Launch
Remittix, a project building on Ethereum, has reported over 10,000 downloads of its iOS wallet, marking an early step in its broader PayFi ambitions. The company has invited 1,000 existing RTX holders to test its EUR and USD PayFi options, which aim to convert supported cryptocurrencies into fiat for bank transfers. This feature could be particularly useful for international contractors, tapping into the massive global remittance market estimated by the World Bank at $856 billion in 2024.
Remittix is integrating multiple financial activities into its ecosystem ahead of its planned November 24, 2026, launch. The project's wallet could serve as a hub for receiving, trading, and converting crypto assets, potentially deepening user engagement. Remittix Markets is already live with over $50 million in cumulative trading volume, and its Earn feature is set to launch soon, offering up to 22% APY on eligible assets.
For Ethereum, application use remains a key driver of growth. ETH traded around $2,720 on October 5, with the network's roadmap focused on improving capacity and user experience. The success of projects like Remittix could further bolster Ethereum's ecosystem by attracting more users and capital.
Remittix has raised over $32 million toward its $36 million hard cap, with a final presale tier priced at $0.46. The project's ability to convert wallet downloads into repeat transactions and customer relationships will be critical as it approaches its launch date.
