Ripple and SettleMint have teamed up to create a comprehensive platform for banks dealing with tokenized assets. The partnership brings together Ripple's Custody service, which provides secure storage and management of digital assets, with SettleMint's Digital Asset Lifecycle Platform (DALP), which handles the entire lifecycle of asset issuance, design, and governance.

The collaboration is initially targeting the Asia Pacific region, where regulatory frameworks are being established to encourage innovation in digital assets. By integrating these two services, banks can now manage their tokenized assets through a single platform, eliminating the need to work with multiple vendors.

Fiona Murray, Ripple's Managing Director for Asia Pacific, emphasizes that institutions seek to avoid the complexity of stitching together separate solutions for asset custody and governance. This partnership aims to address this issue by providing a unified control center for banks dealing with tokenized assets.
