Ripple CEO Accused of Misleading XRP Holders Amid Ongoing Regulatory Uncertainty
A vocal member of the XRP Army community has launched a scathing attack on Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, accusing him and his company of enriching themselves while leaving retail investors in the dark about XRP's true prospects.
XrpHubby, who claims to have held XRP through the prolonged legal battle with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the broader crypto market downturn since Donald Trump took office, expressed his frustration on social media.
The post, which has circulated widely among XRP supporters, alleges that Garlinghouse and Ripple leadership benefited financially as the company expanded, while XRP holders were strung along with vague promises and evasive communication. 'You milked us with riddles and bullshit,' XrpHubby wrote, addressing Garlinghouse directly.
XrpHubby's criticism is centered on his assertion that Ripple's leadership always knew XRP would not be adopted in the way many holders anticipated. He accused the company of employing 'riddles and bullshit' while building its business, suggesting a deliberate strategy of ambiguous messaging to keep investors engaged without committing to concrete use cases for the token.
