Ripple CEO Rejects 'XRP Maximalist' Label

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has pushed back against the idea that he is an XRP maximalist, emphasizing his company's focus on solving real-world problems rather than promoting a single cryptocurrency.

In a recent interview, Garlinghouse stated, 'I'm not one of these people who's an XRP maximalist. I'm bullish on a bunch of cryptos, for a bunch of reasons.'

Ripple's strategy is centered around the usefulness of its technology in real payment flows, rather than convincing retail investors to bet everything on one coin.

Garlinghouse highlighted cross-border payments as an example of XRP's value proposition, stating that Ripple aims to solve problems like moving money into the Philippines, and that XRP could be the best bridge asset for this job.
