Ripple Deepens XRP Access Through Treasury Software Expansion
Ripple has expanded its digital-asset access through established financial software, moving XRP deeper into corporate treasury workflows. The company's treasury stack now connects over 1,000 customers with more than 13,000 banks and $12.5 trillion in annual payments volume, thanks to the acquisition of GTreasury for $1 billion in October 2025.
The platform combines payment workflows with bank networks and enterprise systems, reducing separate digital-asset systems that can add custody and reconciliation requirements. Ripple's native digital-asset capabilities inside its treasury system, launched in April, allow teams to view and manage fiat and digital liquidity together.
RLUSD provides a stable digital asset for treasury and settlement operations, while XRP can occupy a different role when liquidity or settlement requires it. The adoption test moves beyond announcements about corporate purchases, with recurring settlement activity providing stronger evidence of practical treasury demand.
