Ripple Expands Prime Brokerage Deal with Brevan Howard
Ripple has expanded its partnership with Brevan Howard, a global alternative investment manager, by signing a multi-asset prime brokerage deal. The agreement, announced by Ripple Prime, will provide prime brokerage, clearing, and financing services to Brevan Howard funds across both traditional and digital assets. This deal builds on a relationship that began during Ripple’s $500 million funding round in 2025.
Ripple Prime President Noel Kimmel highlighted the significance of the deal, stating that Brevan Howard’s trust recognizes Ripple’s competitive position and cross-asset capabilities. Brevan Howard Group COO Alan McGroarty emphasized the growing overlap between digital and traditional markets, noting that Ripple’s platform offers increased operational ease and capital efficiency for their investment teams.
Despite XRP’s impressive 43% rally last quarter, leverage in the derivatives market has not kept pace. Analyst Rain observed that exchange reserves for XRP on Binance and Upbit decreased by about 104.7 million tokens, while large wallets holding 10 million to 100 million XRP increased from 12.48 billion to 13.8 billion tokens. ETF inflows have remained positive for 12 straight weeks but slowed in the latest week.
Crypto analyst Moustache pointed to a potential inverse head-and-shoulders pattern on XRP’s weekly chart, suggesting a confirmed breakout could push the price toward $2 to $2.10. Support is marked near $1.30, with resistance around $1.55.
