Ripple's CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, believes that XRP has already cleared its legal hurdle. According to him, a federal judge's ruling from Ripple's four-year fight with the SEC is evidence of this clarity: XRP itself is not a security.

Garlinghouse pointed out that while this decision provides certainty for XRP, it does not go far enough. He wants the entire crypto industry to have the same level of legal clarity, which is why Ripple is pushing hard for the Clarity Act.

The company's CEO expressed optimism about the bill's chances, citing positive comments from lawmakers Tim Scott and Patrick Whit as evidence of its potential success.
