Ripple's XRP Sees Insane Momentum with Record Whale Accumulation
XRP's price surged over 25% in a sharp market rebound, driven by large holder accumulation of $414 million worth of tokens. The buying activity comes after months of relatively quiet accumulation, with on-chain data indicating that bigger investors had been building positions even before the latest breakout.
The recent rally has also coincided with increased trading activity and rising open interest on Binance, reaching a high of $461.3 million in two months. Moreover, XRP's network activity has improved, with Santiment reporting its highest level in over two months.
Analyst Ali Martinez reported that whales accumulated more than 300 million XRP over a 96-hour period, which represents roughly $414 million at current prices. CryptoQuant data has shown average XRP spot order sizes remaining in a range associated with large investors, suggesting continued building positions among bigger market participants.
