RLUSD Hits Fresh Market Cap ATH Near $2.5B as XRPL Stables Jump 6%
Ripple's regulated stablecoin RLUSD has reached a new all-time high in market capitalization, climbing to nearly $2.5 billion on September 22.
This milestone reflects the growing demand for regulated dollar inventory within Ripple's payments network, treasury, and tokenization stack.
The increase in circulating supply can be attributed to several factors, including Binance XRP rewards, Mastercard's addition of RLUSD for 24/7 settlement on XRPL, and integration with Stripe and Tempo. Additionally, institutional access has widened through Ripple Mint's direct mint-and-redeem channel for institutional players.
The total stablecoin supply on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) jumped roughly 6% in a week to approximately $1.19 billion, according to DefiLlama. RLUSD accounts for more than 92% of this total, with around $1.101 billion sitting on XRPL alone.
