Robinhood Chain Emerges as Meme Coin Trading Hotspot with Banana Gun Support
Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum layer 2 built on the Arbitrum stack, has emerged as a hotspot for meme coin trading. Launched on 1 July 2026, the platform enables trading with ETH as gas and has seen significant activity, particularly in meme coins, which accounted for 79.2% of its DEX volume on 27 July. By 31 August, Robinhood Chain recorded a record single-day DEX volume of approximately $989 million, highlighting its growing popularity.
Banana Gun, a Telegram trading bot, has supported Robinhood Chain from its inception, offering features like market buys, limit orders, and copy trading. The bot also includes an Integrated Bridge at /bridge for transferring funds between supported chains. A key feature is the ability to copy trades from top Fomo traders, as their EVM addresses are the same across multiple chains, including Robinhood Chain. However, users must verify actual trading activity on Robinhood Chain before copying trades.
The top Fomo wallets by all-time profile PnL, as of 30 September 2026, include Unipcs with $14 million, point farm capital with $10 million, and TheSolstice with $7.2 million. These figures represent all-time totals and do not reflect recent performance. Banana Gun's copy trading feature allows users to replicate these traders' moves, with options for fixed buys, one-time buys, and market cap filters. Users can also set trailing stop losses and take-profit limits.
As of 6 September, Robinhood Chain operated under a 90-day gas waiver set to expire around 30 September 2026. Post-expiration, every transaction will require ETH for gas, which could impact smaller trades more significantly. Users are advised to keep ETH in their wallets beyond their buy size and monitor gas costs closely.
