Robinhood Chain's gas fees have skyrocketed to unprecedented levels in just 11 days. The network collected $4.45 million in fees on September 2, surpassing Ethereum, Solana, and Tron combined. This surge is largely due to the base fee rising 23 times above its minimum price of 0.02 gwei.

The median base fee across 600 sampled blocks was 0.467 gwei, with intraday readings exceeding 5 gwei. As a result, gas consumed per second nearly tripled from 13.2 million to 36.9 million, and transactions per block increased by 4.1%.

The Robinhood Chain's parameters are managed by an eight-member Security Council, which includes two signers held by Robinhood. Routine changes require six of eight approvals and a seven-day on-chain timelock. Emergency actions, however, can be executed with seven of eight signers' approval.
