Robinhood Chain's DeFi Summer Ignites with Meme Coins and Stock Token Pools
Rising from the ashes of DeFi Summer, Robinhood Chain is now one of the hottest on-chain capital hubs. Meme coins and tokenized stocks have taken center stage, driving growth in various high-yield protocols.
According to DefiLlama data as of September 2, Robinhood Chain's DeFi TVL has reached approximately $775 million, with a 24-hour DEX trading volume of about $1.45 billion and a 7-day trading volume of $7.78 billion.
The current trend is the 'crypto-stock pair Meme', where meme coins are directly paired against stock tokens like NVDA, AAPL, and SPCX. For example, in the AI/NVDA pool, AI is priced in NVDA, making its USD price dependent on both its exchange rate against NVDA and fluctuations in NVDA's own price.
Amidst this surge of interest, other DeFi projects are also gaining traction on Robinhood Chain. Pons, a meme launch platform, has been trading via a Bonding Curve and transitioning to Uniswap V4 once certain conditions are met.
