Robinhood Cracks Open Perpetual Futures Floodgates with Eight New Assets
Roger that - Robinhood is now offering crypto perpetual futures on eight assets. The move marks the brokerage's most aggressive push yet into derivatives trading.
At its HOOD Summit event on September 29, 2026, Robinhood announced the addition of perpetual futures to its platform. Eligible U.S. customers will be able to trade contracts on BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, DOGE, ADA, LINK, and Hyperliquid through Robinhood Derivatives and crypto exchange Bitstamp.
The perpetual futures contracts will carry up to 10x leverage on Bitcoin and Ethereum and 3x on the other six assets. The brokerage will charge one basis point, or 0.01%, per trade through the end of the year - a fee described as among the lowest in the industry.
