Randolph-based trading platform Robinhood Derivatives has released details of an upcoming contract that will determine the price of Bitcoin on September 28, 2026 at 1pm EDT.

The contract, available to trade through various exchanges including KalshiEX LLC and ForecastEX, LLC, allows traders to predict whether the price of BTC will be within specific ranges. The possible outcomes include prices between $83,600 and $83,699.9998, $83,900 and $83,999.995, or $84,200 and $84,299.995.

The contract's resolution will use CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI) to determine the official price. The RTI is calculated by averaging 60 prices collected from various sources at the last minute before expiration.

Traders have the option to either hold their contracts until September 28, 2026 or close them beforehand. It's worth noting that futures and options trading involves significant risk and may not be suitable for all investors.
