Robinhood Markets Inc. is preparing to enter the Middle Eastern market with the launch of its retail investing platform next year. The company has established a new operational hub in Dubai and secured authorization from the Dubai Financial Services Authority to offer trading and custody services across 10 asset classes.
The platform will provide access to equities, cryptocurrency, exchange-traded funds, and investment tokens, among other assets. This expansion marks a significant step in Robinhood's global growth strategy, following its existing operations in the United States and other regions.
The move comes as the Middle East continues to attract major financial technology firms looking to tap into the region's growing investor base. Robinhood's entry is expected to increase competition in the retail trading space, offering local investors more options for diversifying their portfolios.
