Robinhood Predicts Bitcoin Price for October 2026
On October 5, 2026, the price of Bitcoin (BTC) will be closely watched by traders on Robinhood's prediction market. The platform is offering event contracts that resolve based on the price of BTC at 2pm EDT on that day. The price used to determine the contract outcome will be based on CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI), calculated as the average of 60 RTI prices collected in the final minute before expiration.
Traders on Robinhood's prediction market are placing bets on various price points. The majority of contracts, at 99¢ each, predict that BTC will be $85,400 or above. A smaller number of contracts, at 2¢ each, anticipate the price reaching $86,000 or above. Other price points, such as $85,500 or above and $85,600 or above, are also being traded but with less volume.
The payout for correct predictions is $1 for every contract owned, and traders have the option to close their positions before the event resolves. However, additional fees apply for trading these contracts. Robinhood Derivatives, LLC offers these event contracts through various exchanges, including KalshiEX LLC and North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc.
