Robinhood Unleashes Weekend Trading and AI-Powered Trading Agents

Robinhood has announced a range of new products and features, including weekend equities trading and AI-powered trading agents. The company's Chief Brokerage Officer, Steve Quirk, said 'The stock market never sleeps, and neither should your portfolio.' This move extends Robinhood's existing 24-Hour Market, which currently runs Sunday 8 p.m. ET through Friday 8 p.m. ET.

Robinhood Agents, the company's AI trading experience, now lives directly inside the app. This feature allows users to name an agent, open a dedicated account, and pick a model from labs including OpenAI, with GPT-Luna free through year-end. Over 150,000 customers are already using Robinhood Agents, running roughly 30 million agent actions a day.

The company is also rolling out perpetual futures on eight major tokens, including Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), with up to 10x leverage and just a 0.01% trading fee through year-end. Additionally, Robinhood is launching earnings contracts through Cboe, letting traders bet on specific company metrics like beating earnings or hitting revenue targets, fee-free through the end of the year.
