Robinhood Unveils Crypto Perpetual Futures for US Customers

Risk-tolerant US customers of Robinhood will soon have access to crypto perpetual futures contracts, the company announced on September 29. The product will be available for Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH) and seven other digital assets, including Solana (SOL), XRP, DOGE, ADA, LINK, and HYPE.

The perpetual futures contracts have no expiry date and offer a leveraged trading option. BTC and ETH perpetuals may allow leverage of up to 10x, while the remaining listed assets will be capped at 3x. This means that customers can amplify both their gains and losses by using higher levels of leverage.

The rollout is part of Robinhood's broader effort to expand its offerings for active US traders. The company has also introduced Robinhood Agents, an in-app AI product that lets customers create dedicated agentic accounts, select models from leading AI labs, research markets, develop strategies and place trades.
