Robinhood's Bitcoin Price Prediction Market Sets October 4, 2026, as Key Date
A prediction market on Robinhood is currently tracking the price of Bitcoin on October 4, 2026, at 7pm EDT. The market offers traders a chance to predict whether the price will reach certain thresholds. If the price closes above $86,300, traders who bet on that outcome will receive 99 cents per contract. If the price closes above $86,400, traders will get 99 cents per contract. If the price reaches $87,600 or above, traders will receive 5 cents per contract, and if it hits $87,700 or above, they'll get 2 cents per contract.
The price used to determine the outcome is based on CF Benchmarks' corresponding Real Time Index (RTI). The final value is the average of 60 RTI prices collected at the last minute before expiration. Traders can choose to close their positions before the event resolves, but additional fees apply.
The contract prohibits trading for individuals who hold material, non-public information on Bitcoin or are employed by certain agencies. Futures and options trading involves significant risk and may not be suitable for everyone.
