A major shift is underway in the advertising industry as Roundtable's (RTB) Web3 MediaOS and DeFi payment platform goes live, integrating with Coinbase's USDC payment infrastructure. The platform allows for real-time settlements of ad payments to journalists without human intermediaries.

As part of this launch, RTB announced a ten-year contract with 21 major media brands to migrate their $100 million advertising ecosystem to Roundtable's Web3 platform. This move is expected to automate payment cycles and provide transparency in the process.

The platform has already been tested in the US, where it has processed trillions of AI-monitored bids through dynamic DeFi smart wallets. The integration with Coinbase's USDC payment infrastructure provides a secure and efficient way for journalists to receive payments instantly.

Former UK Prime Minister Liz Truss joined Roundtable's board on September 18th and will be leading the European discussions for the premium media coalition offer, which will provide major media brands with access to the platform at no cost.
