Saylor Roasts Cramer Over Bitcoin Sell Plans
Michael Saylor fired back at CNBC host Jim Cramer on August 4 after he announced plans to sell his entire Bitcoin position due to concerns over quantum computing breaking the network's cryptography.
Cramer had declared on air four days prior that he would be dumping all of his BTC, citing a warning from IBM Chairman Arvind Krishna that a powerful enough quantum computer could crack the cryptographic equations securing Cramer's crypto holdings within three to four years.
Saylor responded with a single-line meme captioned 'Tranquilize the ₿ears,' drawing thousands of likes and reactions on his X account. The post arrived amidst a mounting credibility problem for Strategy, which had recently sold 1,638 BTC for approximately $104.73 million at an average price of $63,957 per coin.
