Saylor Sees Coexistence Between Strategy and Strive in Bitcoin Credit Market
Michael Saylor believes that Strategy and Strive can coexist in the Bitcoin credit market without competing for investor capital. According to him, several credible issuers can draw more investors, liquidity, and research into Bitcoin-linked preferred securities.
The total size of the global equity market is $157.8 trillion, while the fixed-income securities market stands at $160.7 trillion. If even 0.1% of funds from either market were to move towards the new type of security, it would reach a capital level of $160 billion.
Strive currently holds Strategy's STRC and issues SATA, creating a direct connection between two players in the Bitcoin credit market. However, the dividends' terms keep the products apart, as STRC operates under a variable rate model and SATA has its own rate and dividend payment schedule.
Strategy has been adding to its Bitcoin reserves while backing STRC, bringing its holdings up to 847,666 BTC. The firm is seeking approval from its shareholders to adjust the dividend schedule for four preferred shares, which could be advantageous to the Bitcoin credit market if investors react positively.
