Michael Saylor, Executive Chairman of Strategy (MSTR), recently outlined a vision for yield-bearing digital dollars built on Bitcoin-backed credit instruments. He described this concept as the next step in the evolution from digital capital to digital money.

Saylor explained that Bitcoin serves as digital capital, while digital credit instruments convert its performance into more predictable returns. He noted that digital credit could offer annual returns of 10% to 12% with substantially lower volatility than Bitcoin itself.

The executive chairman also highlighted the potential for a Bitcoin-backed stablecoin to generate higher returns through Bitcoin-based credit, potentially offering investors a 7% yield with near-zero volatility.
