Scammers Target Bitget CEO After Massive Hack

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen revealed that scammers targeted her on September 28, just four days after attackers stole about $387.5 million from the crypto exchange.

The impostors claimed to be a team from an investment firm and knew Chen was in contact with outside partners seeking help after the breach.

Chen caught the ruse by contacting the investment firm's leader through a separate channel, preventing the scammers from gaining access to sensitive information.
