SEC Clears Cboe BZX to List 3x Bitcoin and Ether Futures Products

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has cleared Cboe BZX to list products that track three times the daily performance of Bitcoin and Ether futures benchmarks.

The order, dated October 2, covers six Volatility Shares products under VS Trust that track various assets including Bitcoin, Ether, gold, silver, crude oil, and natural gas through futures-based benchmarks.

However, it does not establish a trading date for these products. Investors will need to see an effective registration statement before they can buy the shares.
