The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has given the green light to a Cboe BZX rule change, allowing the listing of six 3x futures exchange-traded products (ETPs) from Volatility Shares.

The approved products pair Bitcoin and Ether with assets such as gold, silver, crude oil, and natural gas, each targeting a daily return equal to three times its underlying asset's performance.

The decision comes after Cboe BZX submitted the proposed rule change, which was approved under Release No. 34-106577. The SEC noted that daily leverage resets can erode returns even when underlying prices end flat.
