Senator Demands Probe of Presidential Sons' Crypto Deals

Republican Senator John Curtis of Utah has called for an investigation into potential cryptocurrency-related dealings involving President Donald Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr., and former President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden.

Curtis, in a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Chuck Grassley and ranking member Dick Durbin, expressed concerns that the presidential family relationships may have been used for private financial gain or preferential treatment.

The senator specifically pointed to Trump Jr.'s acceptance of gifts from Russian oligarch Umar Kremlev as part of his wedding, as well as his promotion of family-backed cryptocurrency ventures and advisory roles connected to prediction market platforms.

Curtis also requested an investigation into Hunter Biden's substantial business dealings with foreign entities and instances where his relationship to the presidency may have provided value.
