Shiba Inu Surges 37%, But Whale Activity Triggers Sharp Pullback

Shiba Inu (SHIB) experienced a rapid price surge of approximately 37% over two trading days, before reversing course and experiencing a sharp pullback. According to on-chain analytics platform Santiment, whale transactions reached their highest level in four months during the rally, signaling increased activity from large holders.

The sharp increase in whale transactions and intense retail buying created conditions for institutional-scale investors to distribute holdings into strong market demand. Once buying momentum slowed, prices naturally began retracing from peak levels.

Market analysts believe profit-taking by whales contributed significantly to the correction, as experienced investors often reduce exposure to lock in profits rather than risk losing unrealized gains during future volatility.
