Scammers have been spreading false claims about a Shibarium migration in an attempt to trick Shiba Inu (SHIB) holders into transferring their assets. According to Mazrael, an advisor for the game Shiba Eternity and project contributor, unauthorized accounts were muted official channels on Telegram to promote fraudulent contracts.

The scammers claimed that SHIB holders needed to swap their assets under the guise of a mandatory technical upgrade, but this was entirely false. In fact, Mazrael warned that no user should transfer their current holdings of BONE, SHIB, LEASH, or TREAT to external addresses.

The proliferation of these fraudulent campaigns comes amid community anticipation surrounding the transition to LEASH v2, which is set to replace the original token's code. However, project technical coordination confirmed that there is no formal schedule or definitive date set for this procedure.
