SHIB's Resurgence: 44.1% Q3 Gain, but 167.5% Average Largely Due to Exceptional 2021 Surge
SHIB has enjoyed its best third quarter since its launch, despite a 24% drop in June. The token's recovery is part of the broader crypto market growth, with total valuation rising from $2.15 trillion to $2.89 trillion between the start of this movement and today.
The cumulative quarterly return for SHIB reached 44.1% by September 23, driven by consecutive months of gains in July (12.2%), August (7.55%), and September (19.4%). However, the historical average of 167.5% for October mainly relies on the exceptional surge in 2021, when SHIB soared 833.6%. Without this outlier, the average return falls to around 0.96%, with a median close to 6.04%
SHIB is currently testing several resistances, including a main short-term support between $0.00000560 and $0.00000570 dollar. A daily close above the zone of $0.00000620 to $0.00000630 dollar would consolidate the rebound.
