Silver Prices Regain Ground Ahead of US NFP Data

Silver prices regained ground near $65.70 on Monday during the European trading session, with investors shifting their focus to the US Nonfarm Payrolls (NFP) data for August.

The white metal bounced back after a weak opening near $65.67, and analysts at Rabobank noted that Fed Chair Kevin Warsh's speech at the Jackson Hole Symposium signaled that the Federal Reserve still has 'work to do' to return inflation to its 2% target.

This scenario bodes poorly for non-yielding assets like Silver, which tends to rise with lower interest rates and is priced in dollars (XAG/USD).
