SOFTSWISS Unveils 2027 iGaming Trends Report with Broader Industry Comparisons
SOFTSWISS has released its fifth annual iGaming Trends report, co-authored with WorldGaming. The comprehensive research draws on a survey of over 500 experts and analysis of more than 480,000 media headlines.
The new 'Beyond iGaming' chapter compares the sector to e-commerce, sports, film, gaming, streaming, e-pharma, and crypto across market size, growth, regulatory burden, and digital maturity. This broad perspective highlights igaming's economic footprint.
According to Alexandra Kavelich, deputy CMO at SOFTSWISS, 'The next competitive advantage in iGaming will not come from content alone.' Instead, operators should focus on regulatory readiness, secure payment journeys, intelligent risk management, and relevant customer communication. Fintech, e-commerce, and streaming have already set the standard in these areas.
The report also features insights from non-igaming experts, including Amazon Web Services' analysis of AI adoption and H2 Gambling Capital's dataset on GGR growth.
