Solana and Remittix Drive Crypto Growth Through Network Improvements and Payments
Solana (SOL) remains a focal point for traders eyeing the next phase of crypto growth, driven by its active application market and ongoing network improvements. The Alpenglow roadmap, which targets faster transaction finality through a future consensus transition, is a key development for applications where speed is critical.
SOL was trading near $121 on October 5, with strong activity from trading venues, launchpads, and other apps providing multiple growth engines. However, sustained commercial importance will depend on applications retaining users over the long term.
Meanwhile, Remittix is attracting a different type of customer with its crypto-to-bank payment network, PayFi. The platform is currently in a testing phase with 1,000 existing RTX holders invited to try EUR and USD options. If successful, this could create recurring demand from businesses needing to pay remote staff in multiple countries.
The World Bank estimated global remittance flows at $856 billion in 2024, highlighting the potential for significant payment volume through a single app. Remittix has already seen over $50 million in cumulative trading volume on its Markets platform and 10,000 downloads of its iOS wallet. The company aims to raise $36 million in its presale, with RTX set to debut on November 24 at $0.46.
