Solana developers have launched STRIDE, a security program aimed at protecting projects on the Solana network. The initiative is a collaboration between the Solana Foundation and Asymmetric Research, and it aims to address infrastructure vulnerabilities and other security risks that can affect the entire network.

According to research by Jupiter, sandwich attacks are a major concern for trading systems across several chains, including Solana. The study found that 28 million sandwich attacks occurred on Solana over three years, with some leaders showing higher attack rates than expected.

The launch of STRIDE comes as the SOL price has dropped from around $124 to $118 after a sharp move on Sunday. Market analysts expect the price to potentially retest the $114 zone, but this remains speculative at present.
