Solana ETFs Continue Unstoppable Streak as Bitcoin's Quietly Underperform
Solana's spot ETFs have just marked their 12th consecutive week of net inflows, with over $1.4 billion pouring into the category and total assets under management reaching roughly $1.62 billion.
The week ending September 18 was particularly notable, with $60.7 million in net inflows into Solana ETFs, nearly half of which came in on the final trading day alone.
The majority of these inflows went to Bitwise's BSOL, a staking ETF that passes through SOL staking rewards to holders, capturing approximately 80% of all Solana ETF inflows. This is due in part to its unique structural advantage: investors get exposure to SOL's price movement plus an embedded income stream.
In comparison, Bitcoin spot ETFs had a quiet week, with net inflows amounting to just $6.1 million and trading volume dropping to levels not seen since October 2024.
