Solana ETFs Draw Record $188M Inflows Amid Upgrade Progress
Solana ETFs saw a record-breaking week in terms of new investments, attracting $188 million in net inflows. This significant demand for Solana-based exchange-traded funds (ETFs) is spread across various issuers, not just Bitwise's BSOL, which led the market with about $128 million.
The inflows came as Solana's Alpenglow upgrade moved forward in testing, and SOL traded near $119. The upgrade aims to reduce the time it takes for a payment to become final from 12.8 seconds to around 150 milliseconds.
Friday was the strongest session, with Solana funds adding about $87 million in one day. Bitwise's BSOL fund collected about $56 million of this amount. Grayscale's GSOL and Fidelity's FSOL also reported significant inflows, at $28 million and $18 million respectively.
