Solana Foundation Bolsters Leadership with Key Appointments Amid Network Growth
Solana Foundation has appointed Rachel Conlan as its new Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and Jamal Raees as General Manager of Payments, according to an announcement on September 24. Both appointments are part of the foundation's strategy to accelerate adoption and growth.
The two new leaders join at a time when Solana is experiencing significant growth, with more than $5 trillion in stablecoin volume processed so far in 2026. Real-world assets on the network have surpassed $4.5 billion, and tokenized equity supply has crossed $620 million. This growth is part of the foundation's Internet Capital Markets strategy, which aims to enable any asset to be issued, traded, and settled natively on the internet.
Rachel Conlan brings her expertise as a former Binance marketing chief to lead strategy across institutional partnerships, ecosystem growth, and go-to-market work. She will focus on turning Solana's adoption thesis into implementation. Jamal Raees, who joins from Polygon Labs, will focus on payment companies and enterprises to extend Solana's reach as global payments infrastructure.
