Strategy Extends Bitcoin Buying Pause for Fifth Straight Week
Strategy, backed by Michael Saylor, reported that it did not purchase any Bitcoin during its latest week-long period, extending its buying pause to five consecutive weeks. This marks Strategy's longest confirmed buying pause since it began its aggressive accumulation strategy nearly two years ago.
The company continues to hold 843,775 BTC at an average purchase price of $75,476 per coin, with an aggregate cost basis of $63.69 billion.
Despite staying on the sidelines of the Bitcoin market, Strategy continued to tap equity markets for fresh capital through its at-the-market (ATM) program. The company sold 5.43 million MSTR shares during the week, generating approximately $544.5 million in net proceeds.
