KSNET, a South Korean payment processor handling $4 billion in monthly transactions, has partnered with the Solana Foundation to bring Solana Pay to its network of over 330,000 merchants.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed on July 30, setting the stage for one of the largest real-world crypto payment integrations in Asia.

KSNET processes approximately 130 million transactions every month and has been in the payments business for 26 years.

The MOU outlines plans to integrate Solana Pay into both online and offline payment experiences across KSNET's merchant network, as well as develop a proof-of-concept for an AI-based payment model using technology called 'x402.'
