Solana Poised to Break $300 All-Time High in Third Major Run

Solana is poised for its third major run to new all-time highs, according to analyst DJ Ha Trang. The network's first significant leap came in November 2021, when it reached an all-time high of $260 during the NFT boom and DeFi expansion.

However, momentum collapsed alongside FTX, sending Solana back down to around $10. Despite this setback, the ecosystem continued to build, fueled by the 2024 memecoin wave. This led to a new all-time high of $290 in January 2025.

Solana now holds 54% of spot trading market share, with $425B in monthly volume, according to Ha Trang. She attributes this dominance to two main factors: infrastructure and aggressive business development.

The network's recent research shows it delivering better trade execution for SOL to USDC pairs than centralized exchanges. This gap appears to be widening across other trading pairs as well. Additionally, new assets are being listed on Solana at a near-weekly basis through platforms like Sunrise and Backpack Securities.
