Solana Price Jumps 4.3% Amidst US ETF Outflows
Solana's price rose by 4.3% over the past 24 hours to $106.13, increasing its market capitalization by approximately $2.56 billion.
In contrast, U.S.-based exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw a net outflow of $5.2 million on Friday, with Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (NYSEARCA:BSOL) accounting for the largest loss at $2.8 million.
The disparity between these two figures highlights the difference between market capitalization and fund flows. While SOL's price increase represents a significant shift in market value, the ETF outflow is a relatively small percentage of the total assets held by Bitwise Solana Staking ETF.
As the crypto market continues to trade over the weekend, it remains to be seen whether the U.S.-based ETFs will follow suit. With a positive Tuesday flow potentially validating the weekend's price increase, investors are advised to monitor developments closely.
