Solana Sees $188M Institutional Inflow Without Moving Price

The Solana network has seen a significant influx of institutional money in the past week, with $188.21 million flowing into seven US spot funds on Solana.

This record inflow is not reflected in the price of SOL, which remains at $119.21 after barely moving from the same point last week.

The majority of this inflow came from Bitwise's staking fund, accounting for 68% of the total with a net inflow of $128.46 million.

This influx is largely driven by institutional investors seeking to participate in Solana's yield-generating staking mechanism.

The mainnet activation of Alpenglow and SIMD-0326 is still pending, which will introduce significant changes to the network, including a new voting mechanism (Votor) and data propagation system (Rotor).
