Solana Stabilizes Within Weekly Demand Zone as Traders Eye $90 Breakout
Solana's price is currently trying to stabilize within its weekly demand zone, as traders wait for a breakout from its short-term downtrend. The $60-$68 support region is crucial in this regard, and if it holds, it could pave the way for a move towards $90. However, another dip may be needed to confirm that Solana has indeed bottomed out.
The higher-timeframe support remains intact for now, but SOL must break its short-term descending structure before a sustained recovery towards the $90 area becomes more likely. The Binance weekly chart shows SOL trading near $74 after several months of lower prices, with the latest candles remaining inside the highlighted demand region that extends from roughly $64 to $75.
Mayne notes that Solana's 12-hour trend remains bearish, with a descending red trendline on the chart highlighting the sequence of lower highs that has limited recent rebound attempts. A decisive break above this structure, followed by a successful retest, would provide the first sign that buyers are taking control.
