Solana has broken above the $100 psychological barrier after months of resistance, and its strongest monthly advance in years is being driven by a convergence of institutional access, ETF activity, and changing tokenomics.

The move comes as Charles Schwab prepares to expand Solana's accessibility through its brokerage platform, which oversees more than $12 trillion in client assets and has about 39 million active accounts.

This expansion will allow investors who operate within a traditional brokerage environment to access Solana without needing to use a crypto-native exchange.

The increased institutional demand is also reflected in ETF activity, with U.S. Solana-linked products recording sustained inflows and Bitwise's BSOL staking ETF posting a record $126 million in daily trading volume on August 27.
